If you work within a professional services industry (such as accounting, architecture, engineering, law, finance, medical …) and are struggling with a high-pressure job full of long hours and constant deadlines that leave you feeling undervalued, overlooked, and undercompensated, then we might just be a fit.

Because I can relate.

If you want to read up on why I get it, check out my story.

As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Coach and recovering office dweller, I can leverage my years of experience within the corporate world combined with my experience as a hypnotherapist and coach to help my clients learn how to use the power of their own mind to design their lives by re-designing their thoughts and emotions.

What does this mean?

It means that hypnotherapy can help you re-wire your mind more quickly than other techniques because it allows you to work with your subconscious, not just your conscious willpower and desire for change. This allows you to tap into a larger portion of your mind’s power in a creative and intuitive way.

If you are like me and you self-identify as a perfectionist or you’re constantly problem solving and trying to think of all the possible outcomes …then hypnotherapy may be the self-care tool for you because it teaches you how to tap into your inner wisdom by relaxing your inner critical voice to allow your creativity to percolate up to the surface instead of being quieted by your very busy mind-talk.

In my opinion, what society has told us is a negative - that over-planning and over-thinking voice that keeps you up at night - is what makes you good at your job.

I think that we can create a more beautiful life for ourselves by leveraging this innate skill and harnessing its power for ourselves.

Hypnotherapy might be just what you need to help you design your life by learning to relax that inner voice enough to let your own creative and intuitive messages out.  This gives you a focused tool that allows you to make quicker, more informed decisions.

If you feel stuck in your career or stagnant in your life-path in general, and you feel like you never have time to breathe and you are ready to come up for air, then my special blend of post-corporate survivorship mixed with hypnotherapy and coaching might be the right tool for your toolbox.

I added hypnotherapy to my teaching toolbox because it allows me to help people with busy schedules. In the bigger picture, I focus on helping busy professionals transform their inner thoughts and emotions so they can transform their life experience into something they enjoy and look forward to (most days at least!) each morning.

Fundamentally, I help folks working in demanding technical professions – like you – to re-design their minds.

I aim to be your copilot as you learn how to more easily face the challenges of a high-pressure career so that you have more control over your life. Hypnotherapy can help change unhelpful mental habits and lower the negative emotional intensity of your experiences through self-hypnosis, positive affirmations and visualizations, as well as inner guide work.

We might be a good fit if you ...
  • Have a love-hate relationship with your career because you have a deep passion for your craft and making an impact in the world but are struggling to stay connected to that passion.
  • Picked your chosen career because you wanted to make a positive difference in the world but now you feel burnt out, stressed and exhausted all the time by the demands of the job and you’re struggling to meet your career goals, stay motivated and remain connected to that passion.
  • Want to feel inspired again and reconnect to why you got into your profession in the first place.
  • Are struggling to feel successful while trying to balance work and life and stay in touch with the original spark that used to get you out of bed in the morning.
  • Are starting to feel signs of wear and tear from stress and your doctors are telling you it’s time to do something about it.
  • Have been working towards licensure and have gotten stuck because there is one exam (or maybe more?)  that you can’t seem to pass. Or worse yet, you don’t have the time to study at all, so you keep rescheduling your exam date. Procrastination has taken over and your career advancement has stymied.
  • Want to ask for a raise because you feel undervalued at work but lack the confidence you need to speak up for yourself to your boss.
  • Realize you are holding yourself back around money and finances and want to learn how to change your relationship with money so that you feel more comfortable talking about money and fees with your clients, boss, and /or family.

  • You understand that hypnotherapy is not stage hypnotism (like you see at the County Fair or on TV) and that it is a safe way to help yourself reach your goals. A hypnotherapist can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do! On that note, you understand hypnotherapy is not a quick fix. Your hypnotherapist is not doing anything to you or for you, YOU are learning how to leverage your own mind’s power so you can develop a practice that will allow you to reach your goals.
  • You are willing to face your own emotions and thoughts around your experiences in order to start transforming your own life into a more beautiful experience aligned with who you are.
  • You are looking for a more collaborative interactive approach to hypnotherapy.
  • Hypnotherapy is action-oriented. You understand that working together with your hypnotherapist is a process that, realistically, requires multiple sessions to be effective.
  • You have a comfortable private spot, with a strong internet connection, where you can join me undisturbed over Zoom.
  • You are curious to learn more about how hypnosis can help you transform your life.

We might have even more in common if ...

"The best way to predict the future is to design it."

~ Buckminster Fuller

  • You see the inherent value in all humans irrelevant of gender, sexual orientation, race, creed, ethnicity, nationality and musical taste.

  • You love the planet and all the animals and plants and are worried humans have made a royal mess of the environment and are willing to change your ways to hopefully slow down the damage.

  • You enjoy books or podcasts on meditation, mindfulness and health.

  • You support local environmental, social enterprises, or animal welfare and protection organizations.

We probably won't be a fit if ...
  • You are looking for in-person hypnotherapy sessions only and don’t know how to use Zoom.
  • You aren’t willing to do daily self-hypnosis homework in-between sessions because this is how you go deeper into the relaxed hypnotic mind state of self-hypnosis and will benefit from all the good work that you co-create with your hypnotherapist. (Typically, this is about 10 minutes a day in the beginning and then 20-30 minutes a day once you have started to develop a consistent practice. This homework in-between sessions allows you to benefit more from future sessions because it can help you change your subconscious mind and tap into your inner wisdom.)
  • You are looking for past-life regression. If you are, I am happy to refer you to a colleague who is trained in this type of work, please contact me for more information.
  • You are looking to uncover hidden past events that may be causing your current situation. My work focuses on helping you move forward so you can reach your goals. While we may look at past experiences that still have a negative emotional hold that keep you stuck, we will only look at events you are consciously aware of.
